The Next Chapter...

So what will the next chapter be?

One of my first priorities is to be able to take time to enjoy being with family and friends without stressing about finishing a reading, discussion post or an assignment.  To have a little more flex in my day to dig into the learning I choose.

Maybe I'll try developing a few more hobbies... taking time to enjoy my love of photography or learning how to knit or weave better.  I'd love to learn more about how to effectively market a business on social media.

Completing the ETAD program has undoubtedly expanded my appreciation for education.   Being able to look back and ahead at the same time is an opportunity I truly appreciate.  As educators we are often reflecting, but ETAD has provided an opportunity to learn new concepts and revisit familiar concepts through a new lense. It impacts my work as a Learning Consultant everyday.

My experience in Chiapas, Mexico meeting the artisans coupled with the ETAD program has really enabled me to dig in and reflect on the impact I can have in my Color By Amber business. So my next challenge will be to continue to share my CBA business and support the development of team leaders using the skills that I've gained in my ETAD journey.  CBA was my outlet to make sure I maintained some balance in my life... if people just booked a pop-up then I could have an evening out to talk to people face to face.  It helped keep me energized to keep going in my classes.  Plus my investment in CBA also helped pay for the majority of my Masters program :)

The next chapter will also include the launching of What's Your Story, with my friend and business partner, Tracy Dickie.  As educators and CBA team leaders, we wanted a way to share our learning with our teams and interested learners.  So we are in the early stages of launching our website and blog.

changes your story tomorrow?
