The Evolution of Me - ETAD - September 2014 - August 2016

The entire ETAD program has helped us refine our

connoisseurship skills

not only in the area of Educational Technology but also in how we see the world around us.  There are parts of this class and program that are completely new and others are concepts we are revisiting again, but developing the connoisseur in us

empowers us to look around our world and

see things again for the first time

and have a greater appreciation for how they came to be and our potential to move beyond.  It’s to see the world we know again

as if for the first time.

To my fellow ETAD and education colleagues thank-you for the time and energy that you put into the discussions.  Not only were the concepts valueable and interesting in their own right, but I appreciate the diversity of perspectives shared by the learners.  I admire the willingness of everyone to jump into the familiar and unfamiliar and connect it to their own lives and share their personal stories.  It truly adds a depth and richness to the learning experinece and I am thankful to have shared this learing journey with all of you.  It's your perspectives and connections that have enabled me to dig deeper and enjoy learning.

I'm thankful to have found a talented and creative group of educators who are passionate about educational technology,  creating the best learning environments for their students and willingly sharing their learning for all of us to grow.

I think it's connectivism in action!
My network has grown immensely and I hope to one day meet my fellow classmates in person.

Where your journey goes and the story you write, depends on the choices that you make.  ETAD continues to be an amazing journey and as I near the conclusion I find it bittersweet.  To be close to achieving my goal of completing the masters program is exciting.  To leave behind the daily connections with my class is hard.  They have been an integral part of my learning.

Thankfully, we exist in a digtal world and my learning
network will never be far away!

To reach the end is really to begin again and
write the next chapter.
